About Me
Welcome to the world of Zumba and Hip-Hop Cardio! For the past seven years, I have brought movement to the dance community by leading Zumba Fitness and Hip-hop cardio dance classes. My love of dance began in my first dance class when I was four years old. Even then it was a perfect fit, and my love for dance led me to succeed in regional and national competitions. When I began to choreograph my own routines, I knew that this was my world.
But life got in the way, and as life went on, I had to stop dance altogether. While walking down the street one day, I looked into a shop window and saw people dancing together; they looked engaged and happy. I realized how much I missed dance, so I went inside, met an instructor, and learned that this studio offered Zumba and other cardio dance classes. I signed up for a Zumba class, and on the first day, I knew immediately that this was my call to teach dance and spread the joy it creates with my community. That first class taught me the power of movement and the magic of connecting with others who share my passion.
Today, I have been teaching Zumba Fitness for the past 7 years. I have also taught Hip-hop Cardio dance, Strong Nation, and I even co-created a format called Hiit Hop. My passion for both fitness and dance has only grown, and I now know that movement can heal people both mentally and physically. My clients say my class is “cheap therapy.” And I think it’s true!
